Working in studio right now. Will turn off when you buy it. For sale $26100

If you're not familiar, this is a superior forebear of the 80's series, and the direct descendant of the A & B range. It's an IC desk, with transformers on the mic/line inputs and outputs.

The monitor section is way more flexible than the 80 series with quad pan, aux sends, solo/mute, and shelving EQ.

This is a quad desk with the rear channels disabled.. so some mod flexibility there as well.

Lots of way to further mod this desk to suit your style.
Maintained by tech Alan Garren.

Decomissioning, crating, and shipping to be arranged by buyer.

Over $60,000 invested in the console alone (including the pro refurbs, the new faders, the new power supply )

These consoles were hand built in England by Malcom Toft himself from 1974-1981.

Quotes from other sites : "One of the best sounding consoles ever built.
The mic pre is based on the extended frequency response Trident TSM series input module. This is the same preamp design found in the Oram Pro range as well as the new Trident Series 80 5.1 console. According to the mnanufacturer, the preamp measures an E.I.N. of -126.4 dBu (with 200 ohm input source); at max output of +28 dBu, dynamic range is a whopping 154 dB."

Quotes from other sites : "Diamond Dogs was a milestone in Bowie's career as it reunited him with Tony Visconti, who provided string arrangements and helped mix the album at his own Good Earth Studios in London, on a Trident TSM, brand new from Trident at the time, console . Visconti would go on to co-produce much of Bowie's work for the rest of the decade."

" The Trident is quite possibly the best sounding console ever. Of course that, as well as all I say here, is strictly my opinion, but I'm sure most would agree about the Trident. "

The TSM is what the Americans know as a British Split Format desk, this means it has separate modules for the group outputs and recorder returns unlike an In Line console that is more compact with 2 inputs per module.
