HOW’D WE DO IT?

To celebrate ten years of Microsoft 365, we used Y2K nostalgia to spotlight the brand’s iconic WordArt feature.

Partnering with TikTok Effect House and creators, we put a contemporary and playful focus on the brand’s legacy, creating a global conversation with Microsoft at its center.

We partnered with Effect House filter creators to develop the "WordArt You"  TikTok Effect. We made the effect completely customizable— users could input their name or other text, and the filter would randomly generate a WordArt style to match.

With interactive filters gaining popularity as the newest evolution of the online personality quiz, we had a winning platform.
